LAUNCH OF PTCL CHAMPIONS
Launched in 2018, PTCL Champions is an exclusive programme that promotes a culture of everyday reward and recognition for employees
who perform above and beyond their assigned responsibilities. In 2018, more than 7500 employees were recognised and rewarded as PTCL
Champions for their efforts. Super performers were selected based on different service and quality parameters ranging from outstanding
performance in a project to exemplary customer service. The programme has offered a sustainable engagement and recognition platform
for employees as it encourages them to drive themselves to achieve long-term results. Moving forward, the programme will be extended to
Management Employees as well.
RAABTA VISITS; BRIDGING THE
GAP WITH OUR FRONTLINE
EMPLOYEES
Raabta Programme was launched for the first time in 2016 to create better
alignment between the strategic direction of the organisation and on-
ground operations. It was also aimed at empowering and energising
frontline employees by identifying, understanding and resolving their
challenges. With the commitment of our CXOs and HR Leaders, the
programme delivered substantial results and insights. To further
harness and invigorate this communication programme, PTCL
now plans to launch EVP Raabta in the upcoming year, which
will require EVPs to visit customer touch points and frontline
intensive areas on a quarterly basis to observe the grass-
root level issues. Subsequent to their visits, the EVPs will GLOBAL
be required to share their observations, learnings and
possible action plans for the same.
FORUM 2018
Members of Etisalat HR fraternity from all OPCOs gathered at the Global Etisalat
Forum 2018 to explore the topic of “Agility in HR.” The purpose of the conference
was to traverse the different dimensions of agility, and to validate discussions
related to creating a more agile HR. The event was complemented by a special
address from our International CEO i.e. Mr. Hatem Dowidar, who spoke about
the global perspective of agility, and discussed its implications and relevance.
The session ended with the HR Innovation Awards Ceremony in which PTCL was
recognised for its mentoring and coaching programme; PTCL Chaperone.
