PTCL Declared the Best

Asian Operator

PTCL won the award for the ‘Best Asian
Operator’ at the Telecom Review Excellence
Awards (TREA) 2018 held at The Meydan
Hotel in Dubai. Winners were chosen by an
independent panel of experienced industry
veterans based on how they demonstrated
their capabilities in their specific sectors.

PTCL & LMKT Ignited the Entrepreneurial
Spark in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PTCL and LMKT joined hands to set up the National Incubation
Centre (NIC), Peshawar, funded by the Ministry of IT&T and Ignite
Fund. The facility, which is in the heart of Peshawar at PTCL Training
Centre was repurposed to incubate more than 25 handpicked
start-ups each year, and is equipped with the latest ICT
infrastructure offering high-speed connectivity. PTCL being a
partner with NIC Peshawar, also provided development
opportunities to youth by engaging as panellists, at the Mentor Idea
Review Session, where innovative start-ups and founders from KPK
presented their business ideas. Additionally, youth was also invited
to PTCL HQ to further cultivate their business ideas, as well as
received guidance from Mr. Jahanzeb Taj (CBOO PTCL), which
enabled them to seek guidance and support on design thinking,
business planning, marketing, communication, financial and
operational aspects related to their start-ups.

PTCL Smart Cloud Certified on International Security Standards

PTCL reached yet another milestone in Digital Services as it attained Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) certification v3.2 for its
Infrastructure-As-A-Service (IaaS) offering - PTCL Smart Cloud. PCI DSS certification is a landmark achievement for PTCL Smart Cloud services, which
assures maximum security compliance as per international standards. PTCL’s IaaS Cloud Services run on two locally hosted Tier-3 certified data centres,
which itself is a guarantee of optimal security. PTCL Cloud services achieved this certification after a vigorous evaluation by Risk Associates Europe Limited,
whereby Smart Cloud services were found to be compliant to all international security standards.
