Fun & Sports Gala 2018
This event is organised every year for employees and their families. This
year, the Fun & Sports Gala kicked off in zones with zonal tournaments of
Cricket, Badminton and Table Tennis. Teams from all three zones
participated in the Grand Finale of Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash, Lawn
Tennis and Cricket. Additionally, recreational activities for children such as
tug of war, stand-up comedy, horse-riding, bike-riding, face-painting and
other exciting games brought life to the event and proved to be a source of
entertainment for everyone present.
The Grand Finale of the Cricket Tournament between the North and Central
Zones, was the highlight of the event. It came to a nail-biting close with both
teams playing exceptionally well and winning the hearts of the audience.
However, the cup was raised by the players of the North Zone at the
concluding ceremony, held in Islamabad. PTCL management applauded
all the winners and the runner ups from all categories, and encouraged
them to try again next year to attain the winning slots.
