“-June 2017
Dear all,
PTCL as a socially responsible organization has been contributing positively to the lives of Pakistani people since its inception. Our CSR initiatives range from providing medical services to people of far flung areas of the country, donating generously at the time of natural calamities along with partnering with prominent philanthropic organizations to fulfil their needs for community support.
We feel the involvement of our employees is crucial if we want to continue making significant positive impact in the community. We want to extend responsibility to our people with the launch of an employee volunteer program - PTCL Razakaar. The aim is to encourage the spirit of volunteerism and harness the skills, passions and talents of our teams. The volunteer force will be involved in a myriad of humanitarian activities like campaigning for blood donation drives, teaching and spending time with the less-privileged fragments of society among other initiatives.
What better way to start the holy month of Ramadan than to rediscover a sense of purpose in life and pledge for something good for years to come. I will be amongst the first to sign up for the program and would urge you to drop an email at razakaar@ptcl.net.pk for your nomination.

Warm regards,

Box of Happiness
On August 24th 2017 Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited conducted a mega CSR activity involving its PTCL Razakaars for spreading smiles on the faces of hundreds of orphans across Pakistan.
PTCL employees all across the country were invited to donate hand-packed gift boxes for little boys and girls in need. We received a very encouraging response and the organization was able to collect around 1000 boxes over the two-week campaign. The boxes were duly sorted and distributed simultaneously across orphanages in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, DI Khan, Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Quetta by our team of PTCL Razakaars.
The Headquarters team collaborated with the SOS Children’s Village in Islamabad and hosted an evening of fun and games for the little ones. Boxes of Happiness were distributed and our Razakaars treated the children with jumping castles, snacks, face painting and a magic show among other things.
