PTCL reaffirms its position as leading internet services provider with upgraded exchanges

Karachi, September 25, 2019: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) continues in its endeavor to provide reliable high speed internet services in the exchanges that have been transformed under its Network Transformation Project (NTP).

The upgraded exchanges are Jauhar and Gulshan Exchanges in Karachi, Qasimabad Exchange in Hyderabad and City Exchange in Quetta.

PTCL undertakes on-ground activities at the transformed exchanges. Customers engage with PTCL teams and inquire about the new internet services and faster speeds now being offered.

Under NTP, PTCL provides faster connections of 8Mbps to 50Mbps with its improved copper network and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network. The project has yielded positive results in areas where exchanges have been upgraded. This has resulted in 40% reduction in customer complaints.

For the convenience of customers, PTCL has marked the areas of transformed exchanges. Through the official PTCL website, customers can easily find out if they reside in the area of an upgraded exchange.

Muhammad Anwar Gaddafi, Executive Vice President, Sales, PTCL, said, "We at PTCL believe that customer satisfaction is the key to success. The new network has already started to show great results and it has considerably reduced customer complaints. Through NTP, we are able to provide reliable, fast and unlimited internet, along with a truly digital lifestyle to our customer across Pakistan."

PTCL has transformed the majority of the top 100 exchanges across Pakistan that it had selected for NTP. The remaining exchanges will be transformed by the year end. This massive project will ensure reliable speed, resilient network and fast internet services for PTCL customers. Ends
